Welcome to Yoga Soc! This society is made up of a big Yogi family practicing yoga and mindfulness in a non-judgemental environment for all abilities - and have a laugh doing it!Every week, we hold yoga sessions free for our members. These sessions are super flexible: one week we’re meditating in silence, the next we’re burning off our Tuns pints in a high-intensity class. We also organise termly socials, including our flagship event Get it Om launching this year - a mindfulness, wellbeing & relaxation super-session.LSESU's Yoga Society are re-affirming our commitment to cultivating an inclusive environment where our members can de-stress and work on their yoga practice in a safe, open, and accessible way.With loads of fundraising, society collaborations, and campaigning planned, there’s no way you’ll miss us! We can’t wait for you to give it a go and join in. Membership Our yearly membership is £15. This gives you free and unlimited access to every yoga session over the academic year, and allows us to pay our dedicated, highly qualified, and experienced instructors, provide good quality equipment, book the best facilities for our sessions, and really up the ante on our socials.With amazing instructors, equipment & social sessions where you can meet like-minded individuals to chill with, this is a huge saving! Our classes accommodating a range of yoga styles are also available on a one-off basis at an accessible price. Events and Activities We hold weekly yoga sessions led by qualified and experienced instructors with a range of styles for all abilities. This year, we’re launching Get it Om, a termly social session where all our members can come together to enjoy a range of mindfulness activities, food, and drink, with some key discussions to make sure you take more than just a colouring book away with you!We are also working on collaborations with sports and cause societies to make sure more people feel the benefits of yoga practice and theory, as well as fundraising opportunities and involvements in key campaigns across the Student’s Union.
