Barts and The London Sailing Club is an active and friendly club that offers sailing to Medical and Dental students of all abilities, from complete beginners to experienced sailors. We have a fleet of sailing dinghies that offer competitive and easy sailing to all and regular excellent socials, so there is something for everyone at BLSC!We enjoy the privilege of being part of the Royal Burnham Yacht Club (rbyc.uk) and using its facilities including a full bar and accommodation. The club is based at the scenic Burnham-on-Crouch in Essex and we sail on the River Crouch estuary.Our activities include weekend trips, where we sail during the day and socialise in the evening, discounted RYA courses at the Docklands Sailing & Watersports Centre (DSWC) and summer trips to the sailing centre of the world, the Solent.Whatever aspect of the club you are interested in, get in touch via our social media or come along to one of our socials and get involved! TrainingWeekly race training at DSWC - Focusing on all aspects of racing in various disciplines.Equipment - Warm, comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting wet.
