Established in 1865, Barts & the London Rugby Football Club (BLRFC) is the oldest sports club in the University. It has a rooted history of being one of the most successful university sports clubs, competing in the United Hospitals Cup, the oldest rugby competition in the world, and BUCS. At BLRFC, we maintain a culture and an attitude on which we pride ourselves. We are an all-inclusive club that provides opportunities for players at all levels whether you're at the top of your game or just want to play for fun. If you are interested, please come along to our stall at freshers fayre or contact us via the email belowPlease be aware that this year may be different due to the effects of COVID-19.Taster SessionJoin us for a meet and greet curry after the Freshers fayre to integrate with current players and other first years. On Monday 27th September there will be a taster session to train with us and meet our coach. A basic skills training will be run by senior members to allow new players to develop the skills required to play Rugby. THERE IS NO SELECTION PROCESS. If you want to play rugby at Bart’s and the London, we WILL provide that opportunity, be it in BUCS1 or in more of a social rugby environment.TrainingMondays 19:00-20:30 at East London Rugby Club (West Ham 3G) Equipment - We provide playing kit and equipment.For training, we ask you to bring a gum shield, rugby boots and generic training kit.
