The Islamic Finance and Ethics Society aims to build a platform to discuss, debate and research further into the alternative modes of Islamic and ethical financing. We welcome the City community to seek knowledge into this topic and encourage them to incorporate Islamic finance in their day to day lives and accumulate an asset column in an ethical manner.We intend to investigate what solutions Islamic finance can provide to the social, economic and environmental issues that have been created by the conventional financial system.Over the academic year, we will also host a number of fascinating and inspirational guest speakers, including individuals who are in the field of Islamic finance or who just generally use the products and services, giving their thoughts, advice, and words of encouragement.We will also be running Q&A sessions where members are able to discover careers within Islamic finance and how they could get involved.
