We are a society dedicated to celebrating the art of filmmaking, with a central goal of encouraging members to express their creativity and individuality to the fullest extent, as well as to connect and collaborate with likeminded creatives. Becoming a member allows you access to a community of fellow filmmakers, resources to fully develop your skills, and a platform to display your work and share with others.We encourage students from all levels of experience to join, there are plenty of resources for beginners and experts alike. FILM FESTIVALS We will continue to run regular film festivals based on a theme Don't worry about equipment level - filming on a phone is absolutely fine! Films will then be shown to the society at screenings (and any prizes awarded!) WORKSHOPS Don't worry if you're a beginner - we will be holding practical workshops to help you learn the basics This will be useful for members who are aspiring towards a career in film, TV, and related industries - learning these skills will boost your employability and improve your CV!
