Newly built this year, the cricket hub gives us the best opportunity to prepare for the upcoming season. Sunday  - Training on Sunday takes places at 11am, and is usually tecnique bases and consists of practicing and perfecting drills. Alternatively  we also work on our fielding and fitness during these sessions. Wednesday Training  - Training on Wednesday's take place between 3-5pm. We usually begin with a quick warm-up followed by re-visiting the drills which were worked on during the week. We then have 3 scenario based nets working on a specific attribute of the game. We have 1 bowling machine lane which is usually manned by our coach. Women's CricketBarts and the London Cricket Club, historically has been a men’s sport, with no women having paid membership in its exuberant history. Last year we want to change this and be more inclusive of everyone studying at Barts by transitioning to mixed sport. Through regular training session and friedly matches we look to grow our Womens XI over the next year to hopefully be compteting agasint other competative sides! Keep an eye out for a separate Taster Session during the first term!  Socials The Cricket Club offers more than just a chance to train weekly across some of the best facilities by having a very active social calendar.
