Barts and The London Cardiology society was founded to provide a medium for students who are interested in pursuing a career in cardiology. We aim to run many talks throughout the year, such as: Introduction to Cardiology and Cardiac surgery, how to get into cardiology and build up your portfolio as well as numerous teaching events. We also offer the Barts Mentorship scheme, which is a unique opportunity whereby we recruit students and allocate them to a mentor, allowing them the experience of shadowing eletrophysiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, interventional cardiologists, in cath labs, wards, clinics, surgery etc. This is an ideal way to build your networks as well as get invovled in research. Keep an eye out for some of our amazing charity events running throughout the year.
