About BL Sign Language Society
 Description Welcome to BL Sign Language Society!We are a new society at Barts and the London that aims to bring together students who want to learn British Sign Language (BSL). We aspire to increase awareness about the deaf and mute culture and better prepare BL students for interactions with such patients going forward. We will offer lessons on BSL from fully qualified teachers as well as host events to promote deaf and mute culture. Get involved and join! Aims: Raise awareness of deaf culture and sign language so that BLSA students are better able to communicate with deaf & mute patients  Make sign language education more available for the students and have them certified in BSL  To start a community of like-minded individuals in BL who want to learn BSL. Committee 2021/2022:President: Edmund Sim Wea ChungTreasurer: Sneyhalakshmi SaravananWelfare Rep: Irene Blanca Llinares I Perales If you wish to keep up-to-date with the society and its events, follow our Facebook page and Instagram page!
