QM Baseball/Softball has been running since November 2016 with the primary aim of fostering teamwork and forging friendships. Players of all abilities are welcome to the club! The club is suitable for those looking to train/play casually and also for those looking to compete at a high standard.As the club develops we will compete in both the National University Baseball League and the National University Softball League over the Winter, both autumn and spring cups and numerous friendlies over the academic year. Taster SessionWe will be holding our first taster session the 21st of September starting at 1:30 pm at Mile End Park. The session will begin with basic drills for new players to get used to the equipment and then progress into game scenarios and conclude with hitting. Looking forward to seeing both new and old faces!Eqiupment Players must wear sports attire for training. Gloves will be provided at training and can be rented out for £10 a year (refundable upon return of the glove).Participants will need to purchase their own team shirts through the club if they wish to compete in tournaments. Purchasing your own glove is advised but not essential. Training timesTrainings on Wednesdays 1:30-3pm, Sundays 1:30-3pm at Mile End Park CompetitionsNUBC/NUSC fall cup: early OctoberNUBC/NUSC spring cup: Mid/ Late MarchBoth cups take place at Farnham park in slough and happens over a weekend.
