About

We are a connected community of Bangladeshi students and Greenwich students in general. We welcome anyone and everyone from University of Greenwich to join with us to explore our culture.  GSU Activities Awards 2021We received two awards and one shortlisted nomination for outstanding performance in our foundation year. We won Best New Society Award for doing amazing in our first year of journey. We arranged lots of cultural events for our members, welcomed new students, arranged quizes and competitions etc.   BSoc won Society Community Award as well for building a strong connected community. We organised many virtual events to keep our members connected to fight isolation in the pandemic. BSoc committee worked tirelessly to help new students with advice, accommodation, job, safety, study etc. We created a platform to connect scattered Bangladeshi students to help each other for shared present and future.   BSoc Founder and 1st President (2020-2021) has been shortlisted for Outstanding Contribution to Societies Award. This is awarded to the person who goes above and beyond in service to their society or societies in general. They have been dedicated member of their society, actively engage with students union to help make improvement.
