Graduate Stations, Operations and Commercial

At HS2 we offer a two-year rotational graduate programme, providing you with the opportunity to stretch and challenge yourself across various programme related placements. This programme is designed around enabling you to get as much experience as possible across different teams within HS2. After completion of the 2-year graduate programme graduates will be transferred into a role within the same discipline, but not necessarily the same business area.

We have a graduate opportunity available in London which will require travel to various site locations across the HS2 line of route. Graduate opportunities will be available across a variety of HS2 teams including but not limited to those listed below. After the assessment stage, we will assign successful candidates accordingly based on business requirements.

HS2 stations will set a new benchmark in service excellence and present an opportunity to generate commercial returns from within and around the station and depot sites. HS2 Commercial Development is accountable for the delivery of stations into service and the identification and realisation of commercialisation opportunities that seek to maximise the potential commercial returns. 

The Station Operations & Commercial department is responsible for establishing the stations operations model and commercial opportunities from HS2 stations. This is governed by the Station Operations & Commercial Strategy that was approved and adopted by HS2 in 2019. This role will form an integral part of this team. 

The Over Site Development team will work with internal and external stakeholders, ensure that maximum value is captured, and regeneration objectives met from property development on sites that do not remain in HS2 control after project completion.
