Our 1 year programme will provide you with the opportunity to experience the full lifecycle of project delivery, planning and programme management guided by leading industry professionals who will coach, manage and mentor you.We’ll support your development throughout the 1 year placement, where you will be working with colleagues from across the National Highways. This is a chance to learn on the job in a large organisation that spends £393m of funding.

We are looking for ambitious students who are in their penultimate year seeking a placement opportunity. An individual who can thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Good communication skills, both written and oral are also a must, as are the personal skills necessary to work as a member of a team and to maintain good relations with stakeholders. You pride yourself on your integrity, and on the quality of your work. This role will provide lots of opportunity for both personal and professional development in a large evolving organisation.You will have:At least a 2:2 (predicted) in Construction Site Management, Building Engineering, Engineering, such as Civil or Structural or similar discipline and be in your penultimate year of universityA minimum of a Grade C / Grade 4 in Mathematics AND English Language at GCSEA strong interest in Civil Engineering will be beneficial for this role
