Our goal is to develop cutting-edge software that integrates results from whole genome DNA sequencing (WGS) and whole transcriptome RNA sequencing (WTS) into a fully integrated report, with the aim of simplifying clinical interpretation
Area of Responsibilities
As a Software Developer Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain real-life work experience in a fast-moving environment and help to solve problems and issues that are relevant to cancer complexity in the Medical Genomics Research (MGR) group. Our goal is to develop cutting-edge prototypes and tools to identify clinically relevant findings and molecular biomarkers in cancer Whole Genome Sequencing and Whole Transcriptome Sequencing. - Scientific Python programming (Numpy/Scipy/Pandas)
- An interest in the application of sequencing technologies to human health
- Experience with some of the following: Git, TeamCity, Jira, unit testing, continuous integration, scrum
- Working towards BSc or MSc in Computer Science
