The Shared Services Intern, joining us for a placement year from July '23, will have a great opportunity to learn skills including IT Functional Analysis, Project Management, Release Management, Execution Management & Portfolio Management.

Being part of the Shared Services team opens the possibility of engaging with a world-wide CME Network including teams in Belfast, Chicago,New York and London.

Responsibilities

The Intern will have the opportunity to learn various aspects of the business, such as:Building Portfolio Management Skills – including Prioritisation, Supply/Demand Management, Budgeting & Project Forecasting.Building Project Management Skills – contributing to project management schedules, project tracking and reporting.Building Functional Analyst skills – contributing to requirements definition process (including building both functional and non-functional use cases) for developers to execute against.Building Release Management Skills – contributing to application change control process, managing compliance, risk management assessments.Building skills in Data Management – including Data Visualisation, Data Construction

Ability to demonstrate analytical expertise, close attention to detail, excellent critical thinking, logic, and solution orientation in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and oral communication skillsWilling to work in a team environment; flexibility to work on multiple disparate tasks
