The Mastercard Summer Internship Program is a comprehensive program where students will gain hands on real work-life skills while having fun and contributing to a global company. As an intern, you will be challenged with completing projects that will enhance your skills as well as contribute to the department’s goals and objectives.

Across the summer, you’ll jump into experiencing work & life at Mastercard whilst gaining valuable professional experience and the opportunity to network. Successful interns also have the opportunity to secure a place of our Launch program upon graduating, which you can find out more about here.

Product

Responsibilities

There are a number of different opportunities within Product Management this summer. Roles in this family oversee product evolution, establish go-to-market strategy, optimize products and resources, implement incremental improvements within the product’s life cycle and conduct ongoing care and maintenance. Typical responsibilities include:• Assisting in analysing and interpreting user data, considering context and bias in data, and making a point to highlight data issues / inconsistencies• Seeking to understand Mastercard's business operations and how value is created at each step of the payments value chain• Developing awareness of key business issues and major stakeholders in own area by helping to perform research & analysis• Asking meaningful and appropriate questions to understand and translate business requirements into desired functionality• Approaching work situations with intellectual curiosity regularly sharing ideas for process modifications/ improvements

Requirements

• To be available to work Full-Time between approx. Mid-June to Early-Sept• To be a Penultimate Masters/Undergraduate Student, due to graduate no earlier than 2024• Innovative thinking and thoughtful risk-taking.• Ability to partner across the organization.• Sound communication skills.
