Description

The Future of Work team at the Microsoft Research lab in Cambridge (UK) is seeking a UX design intern to work with the Alexandria team to help us shape the future of collaboration and knowledge sharing at work. We are looking for a curious and creative individual who is interested in exploring complex challenges in human-AI interaction, specifically relating to how machine learning (ML) generated knowledge bases that are able to mine and organize knowledge and its relationships in organizations should effectively present and visualize these rich relationships in ways that help people (i) understand how things are connected, (ii) focus on what is relevant to them, (iii) successfully navigate to the knowledge they need, and (iv) discover related knowledge that they may not have known existed. With this internship we want to explore how interactive visualizations can be used in Microsoft Viva Topics to transform the large-scale enterprise data that our ML mines into intuitive, meaningful, and effective user experiences that make this wealth of knowledge accessible.
