We are seeking market research consultants to join our internship team in summer 2020! Kantar is looking for a forward-thinking, hard-working and highly motivated student who is passionate about marketing, very curious and interested in new ideas. This position sits within the Media and Digital division where responsibilities will include execution of primary market research studies and delivering highly impactful insights to clients across multiple verticals. The Market Research Intern will be exposed to all areas of the business, is immersed from the beginning, and will be given a number of opportunities to learn, grow, and supply. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a growth opportunity and wants to start/build their career within our space.

Area of Responsibilities

Research & Development


You will be responsible for supporting the development of our relationship with the client and encouraging them by giving them creative research solutions, compelling proposals and impactful insights.

Projects may span global markets and cover a variety of client needs including, but not limited to, market landscaping studies, customer research, brand and communications impact and efficiency tracking, social listening, and product and proposition development. The ideal candidate will relish variety and the opportunity to think creatively and have experience in working with clients from start to finish on a given project.

  • An interest for delivering work that delights clients
  • Outstanding project management and organisational skills, action orientation – able to deliver high quality insight projects, encompassing a wide range of design solutions, whether that be new tailored research, building on existing solutions or data assets
  • Client service skills and ability to establish relationships
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Analyse quantitative data, finding stories and producing debriefs and reports to a high standard, and present confidently to clients.
  • A teammate with a positive, encouraging and mature demeanor to peers, junior staff and senior management
