  • Siemens Industry Software has a new opportunity for an Intern to join us on a 12 month paid placement. The Global Operations Support Intern will be based in one of our UK offices.
  • This position is an exciting chance for someone to network frequently between senior business leaders, the Siemens worldwide organisation and supporting the execution of our go-to-market strategy.

Area of Responsibilities

Business, Operations & Strategy

Responsibilities

  • Supporting internal Operations projects as needed.
  • Gathering, reporting and structuring of market analysis and/or company data.
  • Data analysis using Tableau, Excel and/similar tools.
  • Provide automation suggestions for Excel and Salesforce.com to streamline the current tools and data accuracy.
  • Assist in providing reports for our Product Portfolios to be reviewed by senior leadership.
  • Lead and drive projects to completion.
  • Maintain and update current reporting dashboards.

Requirements

  • Advanced Excel skills including functions and Power Query. Visual Basic would be plus.
  • Strong interest in data analytics.
  • Data preparation and visualisation using Tableau, Qlikview or other reporting tools is a plus.
  • Driven and proactive/ self-starting attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness and interest to understand and tackle business problems.
  • Eagerness and ability to learn new software and tools.
  • Currently studying a numerical/scientific degree would be a plus.
