No formal work experience is required for this position. Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate a passion for Information Security through course work/degrees completed, self-study, and/or certifications that have been completedKnowledge of collecting, analysing, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sourcesKnowledge of cyber, incident response and digital forensics, security engineering, security operations, computer network operations, information operations, information warfare, or topical cyberAchieved or working towards BA or BSc degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field.Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic environmentEffective time management skills demonstrated by successful and timely completion of projectsAbility to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentAbility to demonstrate analytical expertise, close attention to detail, excellent critical thinking, logic, and solution orientation in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and oral communication skillsDesirable CriteriaKnowledge or experience of:Scripting languages, including Python and PowerShellOne or more of the following technologies: Java, C#, Perl, Unix Shell ScriptCyber security issues affecting the corporate environmentCommon network and host security technologies and appliancesIAM and Security threats and technologiesUnix/Windows, DB & application servers, virtualisation, network configuration & devicesFundamental security and network concepts (intrusion/detection, TCP/IP, ports, etc.)
