Area of Responsibilities
Responsibilities
In the 12-month Information Technology (IT) Placement, you'll gain invaluable skills and experience, providing support in one of the following areas:
Business – responsibilities will include project management, business intelligence/reporting, IT infrastructure to implementation activities and IT compliance.
Technical – responsibilities will include application/web development, security/controllership, defining business requirements for a new tool, supporting the implementation of a new system and providing technical support/engaging with end users.
You will be guided by structured goals and objectives and will have responsibility to deliver on inspiring projects supported by your People Leader and team around you. We will guide you throughout the year to ensure you make the best of your GE Aviation experience. Your People Leader will offer coaching and mentoring, and you will be provided with the opportunity to connect with other placement students across the UK.
Requirements
Qualifications / Requirements
- Currently studying or recently achieved an Information Technology/Computer Science bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Passionate about Information Technology
