Description
The digital transformation across Supply Chain is exploding and we’re looking to leverage our unique data and digital assets through scaling new platforms, namely Additive Manufacturing.
This is a truly unique role which sits in the context of an evolving business landscape in Supply Chain, as a Digital Engineering intern you will be working closely with a variety of stakeholders across the Brewery such as Operators, Engineers, Shift Managers to investigate and present opportunities and possibilities.
What we offer is a 3-month paid internship, offering you real, hands-on commercial experience with one of the country’s leading FMCG companies. We want you to flourish in this role, and you will be closely supported by both a key business stakeholder and a mentor within the Digital function.
This is a great opportunity to join one of the most exciting businesses in FMCG today, and at a crucial time in our development – as we push ahead with a full new product development programme, activate key sponsorships over the summer and deliver a number of corporate business and sustainability promises.

We are looking to establish robust processes to track value of designs and prints, explore new materials, walk the shop floor collating suggestions for current challenges creating a design backlog, curating designs on the printers to generate discussion and ideas to ultimately showcase the “Art of the Possible” in Additive Manufacturing.
You’ll address real world problems – driving real world results. You’ll have the opportunity to build strong stakeholder management skills and forge a strong network for future career opportunities.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who embodies the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
- Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computing or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- CAD/Fusion360 Designing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an eye for detail
- Attentive to the needs of the technical and business stakeholders, while being able to interpret between them
- Ability to independently plan, design, and conduct tests
- Problem solving abilities
- Creative/Outside the Box thinking – ability to conceptualise designs for real life problems
- Driven to keep up to date with the latest Additive Manufacturing trends, tools, techniques, and practices to support personal development
Bonus points if you meet the following criteria:
- Familiar with Ultimaker & Markforged 3D Printers
- Persuasive nature – the ability to sell a solution
