Description

Our internship programme aims to support the development of high potential individuals through an engaging learning experience. Interns work with the two teams that best suit their skills and interests. Specific dates can be tailored around our successful candidates’ availability. The competitively paid 10-week summer internship comprises of two 5-week placements across our client and operations teams. We also consider placement year students for our client team.

Orbis’ internships are uniquely designed around your skills and interests to encourage personal development and growth. You will work alongside global teams and experts across the firm while receiving one-on-one mentorship to support your learning.Specific responsibilities will vary depending on which team you work with, however, as an intern you can expect to:Gain valuable exposure to client and operations teamsLearn about the different investment strategies and products available within the industryWork alongside global teams to complete projects and assist with standard tasks

Requirements

We are not looking for a specific background or a particular set of skills to fill a position – we are looking for self-starters who are prepared to push themselves to learn and grow. We want to see intellectual curiosity and an interest in the industry. Other attributes of people who excel in this internship include: Penultimate or final year students from any degree background who are on track for a 2:1 or above. Strong written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail
