Our Commercial team help design, develop and deliver dream holidays for our customers, delivering growth and profitability through cleverly managing price, focusing on cost and controlling the availability of our products. From liaising with hotel buyers, to forecasting travel trends, developing holiday brochures, and pricing holidays – it’s all in a day’s work in this area of our business.

Responsibilities

You’ll spend 12 months in the Crystal Ski Holidays team in Surbiton, gaining a full insight into our Commercial function and wider Crystal Ski Holidays business, supporting a portfolio of destinations, and making important commercial decisions which will drive forward the strategy and profitability of TUI Responsible for supporting the planning and product activity for your allocated destinations, which includes ensuring we have the right mix of hotels, destinations, and concepts on offer to match customer demand Play an integral part in analysing the cost base of your allocated resorts and setting the pricing/margin strategy accordingly to ensure your destinations meet both financial and strategic objectives Responsibility of your allocated resorts’ performance. You will do this by reviewing and analysing sales trends, while manipulating our yield management system to make effective recommendations to deliver your trading strategy in line with market conditions – think stock market, but for holidays! Work with a wide range of teams across the business to deliver our web content and printed brochures, ensuring our products are promoted correctly across all of our distribution channels Monitor and report on competitor activity and performance as well as analysing and predicting market trends Regularly interact with other business areas and support our sales channels on customer queries and support the wider commercial team on ah-hoc projects There are two roles available for 2023, depending on which one you take up you could have more of a focus on the product strategy side of our business or product development.
