Description

Provide the middle office support requirement for the business conducted by the Project Finance Department or other SFI Front Office Department, for both Agency and non-Agency related transactions.

The A&MO acts as a liaison point between the Front-Offices (FO) of certain Business Lines, and the Back Office. Its mandate is to assist the FO in the execution of facilities, and thereafter through transaction administration and maintenance on a participant, a bilateral or an agency basis.

Responsibilities

Review and comment on 'draft' documentation for new transactions to check for operational fit with the agency & middle office requirements, highlighting any areas for further discussion with and/or review by the Front Office as necessaryLiaise with Client Liaison (Back Office) on the opening of accounts - ensure the necessary approvals are in placeCheck or obtain confirmation that Conditions Precedents have been met and advise Credit Risk and Loans Administration and confirm guarantee documentation is in line with the facility documentation, under the supervision of a senior analystConfirm/agree treatment of fees (up front vs. spread) with Finance and advise Loans AdminObtain all original documentation, create the files for the deals and ensure that copies of all the appropriate documentation is providedManage relations with the borrower and the bank poolMonitor the syndication process for updating SMAC (internal tool) as and when needed and be aware of potential overholdsMonitor and report outstanding covenants, monitor the upkeep of securities and the sign-off of technical and financial milestonesManage cash flows for the portfolio including managing drawdown's and repayments, liaison with Loans AdministrationGive the Front Office, representing CA-CIB as a participant, the necessary information for the FO to take all necessary actions (including receiving appropriate authorizations) to reply in due time to the agent (CA-CIB or other bank)Book and maintain trades in SMACMaintain diary systems to ensure all actions on the portfolio are monitored·Provide information on the portfolio to the Front OfficeReview the Revenues & Risk Weighted Assets (as in when needed) numbers provided by Finance, provide comments and additional analysisReview Basle II Loss Given DefaultsPrepare audit responsesWhere CA-CIB is Agent on a deal, and taking into consideration the segregation of duties between FO and AMO, under the supervision of a senior analyst:o Provide input into and agree the agency fee with Front Officeo Coordinate between the borrower, legal and all other syndicate memberso Liaise with the borrowers to ensure they fulfill their responsibilitieso Oversee and manage the establishment of the contacts list and Intralinks sites Legal and Regulatory ResponsibilitiesComply with all applicable legal, regulatory and Internal Compliance requirements
